If you're going through the time and expense to protect your vegetable garden, landscape plants, berry garden and other vegetation do it right the first time! A good number of our customers come to us because they need to replace poly mesh they purchased locally at a retail store or elsewhere online. Without mentioning companies or brand names, that mesh isn't very strong and can be broken apart with your hands. It's most often used as bird aviary netting. Bird netting is great for keeping birds out but will not stand up to deer. For deer and wildlife exclusion we offer a minimum of 600+lb breaking strength fence mesh (per square foot). If they don't tell you the pound test rating, it's probably not very strong or at least not strong enough to keep out deer and other critters from your garden.

Our primary business for the past 10+ years has been the installation of this particular type of specialty fencing. Deer and wildlife exclusion is our area of expertise. We have helped exclude wildlife from arboretums, universities, community gardens and many other commercial and residential sites. Our garden fence material has a few advantages. It's strong but lightweight, easy to work with because it's flexible, lasts a long time in the elements (also doesn't rust) and isn't very visible. From 15 feet away the mesh blends in with a surrounding landscape or garden. Near a tree line it virtually disappears. It's also less expensive than conventional fencing. Customers use this same mesh as a perimeter type deer fence, on farms, to contain dogs, cats and yes.. even for containment when raising deer. For ultimate protection, overlap some poly mesh with a chew proof base as shown above. There are many sizes and configurations based on your needs.
